Sing Cockatoo is a weekend of a cappella singing workshops, and other musical activities, culminating in a public performance at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. 

This is an opportunity to explore the island’s physical attractions and its diverse history through music.  The people of Cockatoo Island’s history include bushrangers and convicts, urchin boys and wayward girls, shipbuilders and seamen, artists and artisans, sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.  There’s a place for you!  

Musical Director Christina Mimmocchi will be ably assisted by Christine Wheeler and Rob Maxwell-Jones and a surprise guest or two.
